ZTE Corp announced the launch of its next generation bearer network solutions in the Indian market comprising of IPTN solutions, IxWDM solutions and IP/MPLS solutions to cater to the increasing demand for such products in the Indian market.
The company claims that its Bearer Network portfolio will enable Indian operators to migrate easily from 2G to 3G networks without extensive investments.
ZTE has witnessed huge uptake for its Bearer Network portfolio with globally 30 operators adopting the same in 10 countries. Indian clients for the same include BSNL, TATA, Vodafone, Reliance, IDEA and Aircel.
The solutions are based on an all-packet architecture as well as open platform and integrate diversified packet technologies, capable of delivering customers with varieties end-to-end transport solutions for different application scenarios. ZTE says that its optical networking solutions and products allow operators to build the green metro transport network with efficient, agile, low-cost, power-saving and eco-friendly features.

The company’s datacomm product router series consist of the high-performance core router series T1200/600. ZTE says that the router adopts advanced hardware architecture, supports comprehensive routing protocols and offers a wide variety of interfaces. |
