Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) received a boost on its 3G initiative front as T-Mobile Czech granted a 3G network deployment order to the firm. The network which will be powered by NSN’s Flexi Multiradio Base Stations and HSPA technological solutions is expected to be launched in Prague by the end of the year with the pilot to start in the autumn.
“The demand for data services in the Czech Republic has been growing continually. Therefore building a 3G network is one of our priorities even in these economically more challenging times,” says Roland Mahler, Managing Director of T-Mobile Czech Republic. “Nokia Siemens Networks is one of the companies that supplies technology for the entire mobile division of the Deutsche Telekom Group, which is a guarantee that we will be able to offer the top quality services to our customers. “

NSN further added that it will also equip T-Mobile with its network integration services, NetAct network management system enabling T-Mobile to monitor, manage and optimize the network as well as upgrade of the core network to support 3G services. |
