Messaging company Acision announced the appointment of Mark Williams as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Asia Pacific region.
In the new capacity, Williams will be based in the company’s Singapore bureau and will work towards pushing growth in the region.
“In this role, I am determined to ensure Acision sustains its leadership in Asia but also grows its market share by developing existing partnerships with local carriers, creating new strategic relationships and delivering sales across Acision’s propositions in messaging, mobile broadband, mobile marketing and charging,” said Mark Williams, GM for Acision, Asia Pacific.
Prior to joining Acision, Williams was associated with Amdocs, where he headed the global sales in 2009 and held the position of senior vice president of Asia Pacific region. Further before Amdocs, he had also worked with Ericsson Australia for nine years in various positions
Commenting on the appointment, David King, chief operating officer for Acision, said, “Mark has extensive experience in building profitability into businesses and driving up sales.
