The market for CRBT as well as music downloads is increasing rapidly and sensing a scope for bringing in more user-friendliness, VAS solution provider Comviva in alliance with speech recognition solution provider, Nuance Communications will allow users to search for songs through the voice option.
Branded as ‘Song Search’, the solution will be available from October 2009.
The tie-up says that presently users have to navigate a lot over the portal or IVR systems before actually locating the desired song. Through speech recognition option, the search will significantly ease out.
Additionally keeping in mind that some users may not precisely recollect the flow of words in a song, the Song Search feature allow users to say in any combination of words.
Users will be given option to prompt in Hindi and other popular regional languages.
