Tata Indicom's subscriber breaks global longest phone call record

Tata Indicom which recently announced a flat rate of Re.1 per call irrespective of the duration of the call announced one of its subscribers, Sunil Prabhakar of Kailash Hills, New Delhi has slashed the earlier record for having longest phone conversation.

The previous record of 40 hours held by Tony Wright is overpassed by Sunil’s 51 hour long call.

Sunil created the record by starting his conversation with Dr K.K.Agarwal followed by calls to prominent people like Director, Delhi Institute of Tool Engineering, Delhi Govt. Dr V.P.Dutta and many more registered persons.

 The fete was achieved from Vishal Mega Mart’s Mathura road branch and it started at 7.00 am on 18.09.2009 and ended at September 20 at 10.00am.
