 Leading research and consultancy firm, Frost & Sullivan predicts ZTE to lead the global market for UDC/NGHLR market.
UDC/NGHLR is believed to be addressing growing market problem of distributed storage and inconsistency of user data.
Frost & Sullivan says that due to its cost effective solution and huge subscriber base especially in emerging areas, ZTE has grown rapidly in the UDC/NGHLR market with more than 20% of the global UDC/NGHLR subscriber base riding on ZTE enabled network.
The report further points out that there is an increasing trend globally maong the operator community to migrate from HLR to NGHLR. Frost & Sullivan predicts that more and more operators will increase UDC/NGHLR spending and the service themselves.
The UDC software market is estimated to grow at a CAGR of 128.7 % from 2008 to be worth $ 875 million by 2013.
The report also states that vendors need to adopt the UDC open architecture and business model to mitigate potential for bottlenecks. |
