Alcatel-Lucent has joined hands with BNP Paribas’s BNP Paribas Lease Group (BPLG) offering Alcatel-Lucent Financial Services to the BFSI (Banking Finance Services and Insurance) sector across the globe and particularly target the small and medium enterprises within this segment.
The tie-up aims to provide a range of financial products and services leveraging from the existing Alcatel-Lucent business partner network. The alliance has positioned the services around the low-capex model allowing the sector which is reeling under the meltdown to save on the crucial cost front.
The solution promises to provide an end-to-end solution approach encompassing processes such as credit checks, quotations and financing contracts.
To start with, the services will be made available in Spain, France, Germany, Benelux and Poland and gradually expand to other regions. As an initial offer, the tie-up has launched a 0% financing scheme for the small and medium enterprise segment.
“We look forward to deploying this international program on behalf of Alcatel-Lucent,” said Joseph Pulicano, head of IT and Telecom within BPLG. “Our combined forces will bring Alcatel-Lucent Business Partners an efficient and easy-to-use financing service to continue developing their sales while small and medium business customers preserve or optimize their financial positions.”
“Alcatel-Lucent Financial Services will complement our Enterprise portfolio with a set of attractive financing solutions,” said Marie-Laure Mazaud, Global Head of Project Finance and Credit at Alcatel-Lucent. “Partnering with BPLG in this new offering will enable our customers to manage their communication needs despite the tight credit situation brought about by the current economic environment. This new program enhances our active support of our Business Partner and reseller community.” |
