TCS’s revenues from Telecom segment seen declining

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced its quarter two results last week reporting revenues of Rs 7426.6 crore as compared to Rs 6784.45 crore during the corresponding quarter last year.

Revenues from the Telecom business vertical declined from Rs 1038.02 crore in September 2008 to Rs 935.75 crore in September 2009.

While revenues from this division contributed as much as 15.3 % in Sep’08 the contribution slid to 12 %.
