Intel alongwith HCL Infosystems unveiled WiMAX-enabled nettops and laptops in India
The world’s largest chip maker Intel, along with HCL Infosystems, on Tuesday announced the launch of the first of WiMAX-enabled laptops and nettops in the country with the latter considered to be small form of laptops consuming less power and mainly used for internet access.
The products will be commercially available within three months.
“The cost of the devices will be a bit higher than conventional laptops, as it includes the WiMax access device,” added HCL Infosystems chairman and CEO Ajai Chowdhry. |
