Bharti Teletech enters into S&D alliance with Avaya

Bharti Enterprise subsidiary, Bharti Teletech entered into Sales & Distribution (S&D) tie-up with Enterprise Communications solution provider, Avaya for the Indian market.

Under the deal, Bharti Teletech will oversee S&D for Avaya’s entire product portfolio for Unified Communications and Contact Centres solutions as well as services throughout the country. Additionally Avaya hopes to benefit from Bharti Teletech’s strong presence in the EPABX market as well as with System Integrators.

According to Mr. Sunil K. Goyal, CEO, Bharti Teletech said, “This alliance will enable Bharti Teletech to capitalise on the increasing demand for IP EPABX, VoIP products and solutions in the Indian corporate and institutional segment. Our understanding of the Indian market coupled with an extensive network of system integrators is a perfect match for Avaya’s growth strategy in India. This mutually beneficial partnership will offer both companies an opportunity to further strengthen their reach and position in the enterprise communication market.”

Mr. Jangoo Dalal, Managing Director, Avaya India said, “We are very bullish about this niche and unique channel model and relationship with Bharti Teletech. Beetel which is Bharti Teletech’s brand in India has a huge brand recall in the Indian market backed with large service & support network of its retailers & partners. Bharti Teletech will help Avaya to cover the vast Mid market & SMB customers in Indian market up-selling with Avaya IP office solutions to meet the enhanced needs of SMB customers."
