Silk Media Technologies and BSNL entered into a business alliance to offer ‘Meeting Junction’ VAS which offers audio conferencing and PC conferencing services to users.
The alliance is offering the service on a prepaid subscription model.
The service can support up to 15 people to have the audio and PC conferencing services at one time. Interestingly the audio conferencing service is available to wireline as well as wireless subscribers of all the operators in India. To avail, the PC service, the user needs to have broadband or internet connection.
“Meeting Junction is an all encompassing Audio and PC conferencing service with enormous flexibility. It enables subscribers to talk, collaborate and share information in the most cost-effective manner” said, Mr. Kuldeep Goyal, CMD BSNL. “For the business customer, we offer tiered plans to collaborate with his team, customers and vendors. At the same time, mass market customers or a small businessman can choose the mass market plan on ‘buy as you need basis’ to talk to a group of friends and family as and when needed.”
