Tata Teleservices (TTSL) has come up with new plans under postpaid as well as prepaid mode in Kolkata for its Tata Walky services. The company also launched three new handsets for the services.

The three new models namely TATA Walky - Walky Talky C2, LG LSP 430 T & HUAWEI ETS 2252+  are priced in the range of Rs.1099/- to Rs. 1499/-. The service also offers VAS such as SMS, missed cal alerts, call waiting and internet connectivity.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Sanjiv Sinha, Regional Head – East & Chief Operating Officer, Kolkata Circle, Tata Teleservices Limited said. “The market response to our Walky product has been very positive and we see tremendous growth potential in this category. We are keen to further grow this category by offering variety of new handsets to our subscribers at great value tariffs. With the launch of these new handsets and offers, we aim to cater to the diverse needs of our customers”.

Postpaid plan 225 offers users to make calls at Re.1 for 3 minutes and STD calls for Re.1 per minute. Moreover the plan offers 225 minutes of free local calls. Another local and STD plan 299 offers local calls at Re.1 per 3 minutes, STD calls ar Re1 per 2 minutes and free local calls for 200 minutes. Local and STD calls can be made to any network under the above mentioned plans.

For prepaid subscribers there are range of new vouchers available starting from Rs 10 to Rs 10,000.

 A new Tata Internet Plan offers free monthly usage of 513 MB with extra data to be charged at the rate of 50 paise per MB. The monthly rental for this services will be Rs 349.
