Huawei Marine Networks Co Ltd, a subsidiary of Huawei Technologies today announced bagging a new contract from Indonesia’s PT Telekomunikasi towards building a new submarine cable system.
The project will help in connecting five islands in eastern Indonesia spanning 1,200 km with an initial capacity of 4 x 10 GB/s. It is scheduled for completion by end of 2010.
