HTC Corp on Thursday launched HTC HD2, a Windows-based phone with HTC Sense feature incorporated into it.
HTC says the new phone is the first to offer capacitive touch display on a Windows platform thereby making viewing, zooming, resizing websites, Microsoft Office files, PD documents and pictures much easier.
The phone which makes use of Qualcomm’s SnapDragon 1 GHz processor has a 4.3 inch display.
The company has tied up with Tata DoCoMo whereby the phone will be offered as part of a bundled offer by the operator. Customers will be offered 500 MB of data per month fee for 6 months.

Living up to that brand promise, we are launching the HTC HD2 phones for our customers. Infact we will be premiering the HTC HD2 exclusively at TATA DOCOMO Dive-In stores so that customers may have a firsthand experience of the world’s biggest touch screen phone.”

The phone is available for a price of Rs 36,990 except for Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh where it is priced Rs 39,990. |
