RCom officially files complaint with ICAI against independent auditor

The Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG) registered a formal complaint with the accounting regulator, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) against the independent auditor appointed by DoT. The auditor had in its report alleged that RCom resorted to under reporting of revenues between 2006 to 2008.

 

RCom has said that the independent auditor, Parekh & Co from Jaipur failed to observe the basic standards of professional conduct while auditing RCom’s accounts as sought by the department of telecommunications a few months earlier.
