Tata DoCoMo offers ‘Postpay@your doorstep’

Tata Teleservices’ GSM services arm, Tata DoCoMo today launched a ‘postpay @ your doorstep’ whereby the operator aims to assist potential postpaid customers through an IVR based platform.

Customers upon calling 1800 266 0000 would be guided by the company’s representatives who will make us of tools such as Bill Plan Calculator to suggest the best value plan to the potential postpaid subscribers. The Calculator takes into account factors such as usage amount and usage pattern. Upon deciding a particular plan a company representative is sent to collect documents from the customer and also to deliver SIM.

Gurinder Singh Sandhu, Senior Vice-President, GSM Marketing, Tata DOCOMO said on the occasion, “Postpay @ Doorstep service will definitely give a big fillip to new postpay customer acquisition numbers. In today’s competitive marketplace, innovating and delivering customized customer experience is a key to brand affiliation and greater services adoption.”

Tata DoCoMo also launched a new ‘Diet Plan’ at Rs 299 rental and offering 36,000 local seconds free or 600 minutes. Local and STD calls under this plan are charged at 1 paisa per second.

For high usage customers the company has introduced plans such as Diet 499, Diet 799 and Super Diet Plan 1099.
