Virgin Mobile launched high-speed wireless internet service, vFlash offering speeds as high as 3.1 Mbps over the CDMA platform. The USB-based device also offers storage space of up to 8 GB.
Apart from internet services, the VFlash can also support features such as vFlash TV and On-demand download services. The On-demand service will offer content such as movies, songs, music videos, mobile ringtones and wallpapers. A new vFlash TV service which the company says is a Live streaming service ( a 7 second delay) offers 40 popular television channels.
The vFlash modem is priced at Rs 3,499/- and the MVNO operator is offering the service under three tariff options ranging from Rs 250 to Rs 1100 per month. Other options such as night plans and annual rental plans will also be launched soon.

As an introductory offer, the company has launched a Zero Data Rental Plan for the first 30 days including zero rental for vFlash TV live TV. This is applicable till January 31, 2010. Zero rental for On-demand services will be applicable till March 31, 2010. |
