Nimbuzz which specialises in offering mobile instant messaging services today clicked a major deal in the Indian market with a new alliance with Virgin Mobile India whereby Nimbuzz’s social networking and chatting features will be made available to the youth-centric subscribers of Virgin Mobile.
Under the deal, Nimbuzz will extend its multibrand WAP chat application to Virgin Mobile under the brand name of Vchatter thus enabling subscribers to access multiple instant messaging services from a single login.
Initially the Vchatter will be available under the Vbytes environment with the next phase to witness Vrign-branded Nimbuzz Java applications.
