Mumbai-based mobile consumer usage research firm, Informate’s new study on “Top BFSI and Online Trading websites used by people in different age groups on Mobiles & report on Top Banking & Finance apps” claims that within this segment ICICI and SBI have the highest reach across all age groups.

Age-wise, the younger age groups are seen accessing these portals for personal banking, life insurance and stock market related services over the mobile medium. The older age groups access such sites through the mobile medium mainly to access stock market related services.

The research predicts that with RBI increasing the cap on mobile banking, Banking And Finance applications may record increased reach.

It is to be noted that the sample size of the research is low when compared to the actual mobile subscriber base in the country.
