TT Bureau |  |  22 Feb 2008

Huawei technologies Co. Ltd  announced that it has successfully deployed its all-IP CDMA solution in the Tata Indicom’s commercial network in India.

Tata has chosen Huawei’s IP CDMA core network solution and radio access equipment and replaced it with its existing networks in Delhi, Kolkata and other main cities. This will lead Tata Indicom towards 3G technology.

According to Huawei, the new end-to-end all-IP network architecture permits Tata to simplify networks operations, reduce operating expenditure and improve resource utilization.
