State bank of India Chairman, O P Bhatt said on Wednesday that telecom service provider, Bharti Airtel is in talks with the Bank to support funding for the company’s proposed acquisition of Zain’s African operations.

Bharti is in exclusive talks with Zain till March 25. Bharti has offered to pay $ 10.6 billion towards the acquisition.
