Vodafone today announced an initiative enabling its subscribers to book IPL tickets through Vodafone M-Shop.

The tickets can be booked by dialing toll free 53333 or by semding SMS M SHOP to 53333. Alternatively subscribers can also book tickets on www.vodafone.in

Subscribers will be offered to choose seats in stand of their choice.

Tickets booked will be charged Rs 30 per ticket. The tickets can be collected from Vodafone Stores or get it delivered through courier ( the courier charges will be applicable).

Speaking on this initiative, Kumar Ramanathan, Chief Marketing Officer, Vodafone Essar said, “DLF IPL is one of the most awaited events in India and we are happy to launch a service that provides our customers the convenience of buying IPL tickets through their mobile phones. Our aim has always been to provide innovative and superior services that benefit out customers and this initiative is another step in that direction.”
