Bharti Airtel to launch iPhone 3GS in India on March 26

Bharti Airtel announced on Wednesday that it will launch iPhone 3GS in the Indian market on March 26, 2010.

“We are delighted with the opportunity to bring the eagerly-awaited iPhone 3GS to India. Combining the strength of the Airtel brand and network with the great user interface of iPhone 3GS, we are happy to bring to our customers an experience that will take mobile communications to a whole new level," said Atul Bindal, President-Mobile Services, Bharti Airtel.

The model will be available from Rs 35,500 for the 16 GB version while the 32 GB model will be available for Rs 41,500. Airtel will offer 500 MB of free data every month for a year from activation of service.
