Huawei strongly refutes any wrong doing for BSNL contract

Huawei Technologies reacted strongly against any professional wrong doing to bag the BSNL GSM contract.

 

Reacting to TelecomTiger report which said that CBI is set to initiate action against BSNL officials who have allegedly helped the company in bagging the mega-GSM contract for the Southern region, Suresh Vaidyanathan, spokesperson for Huawei said, "Huawei has played an integral and a positive role in developing the Indian telecom industry in the last ten years and will continue to add value by providing latest technology which are safe and secure and meet international security standards to its India based customers".

 

He further added that, "Huawei has excellent professional relationship with all its India customers including BSNL largely based on mutual professional trust developed over the decade due to providing innovative technology and solutions which "future proofs" investments of all our customers".

 

He added, "Huawei has successful operations in over 100 countries globally and provides networks to 45 of the world''s top 50 telecom operators, hence Huawei has always played a contributory role in developing the overall telecom eco-system".
