Microsoft aims to catch with Google with launch of ‘Kin’ range of phones

Microsoft Corp on Monday forayed into mobile phone domain with launch of ‘Kin’ range of phones in a move aimed as an attempt to keep pace with Google which is gaining traction with Android OS.

Microsoft plans to target the youth segment with its range of mobile phone models.

Initially, Microsoft has launched two models namely Kin One and Kin Two. The phones are manufactured by Sharp Corp. In USA the phones will be bundled with Verizon’s offerings.
