Nokia launches cheap smartphones for emerging markets

Nokia Crop launched three competitively priced smartphones with the lowest model priced at euro 100. The phones are particularly targeted in the emerging markets.

Nokia said that it wants to equip more users with devices having better messaging and social networking tools.

The three handsets are Nokia C3, Nokia E5 and Nokia C6 handsets with each model having full QWERTY keyboards, enable instant messaging and give access to e-mails.

The handsets will be available during the second and third quarters of this year.
