Aricent bags Systems Integration contract of Nepal Telecom

Aricent bagged a three year systems integration pact with Nepal Telecom which includes providing Convergent Mediation & Convergent Interconnect Billing solutions.

 

The solutions will integrate systems enabling next generation product and services for prepaid as well as postpaid subscribers of Nepal Telecom. Aricent will integrate its Active Mediation System with Intec’s InterconnecT software. Post deployment management services are also included under the deal.

 

Nepal Telecom offers telecom services including wireline, data and mobile services over GSM as well as CDMA platform. It is targeting a subscriber base of nine million subscribers to be achieved in three years.

The solutions will provide Nepal Telecom with a common unified mediation platform and a single interconnect system for the entire network as well as promising to reduce TCO and minimizing revenue leakage says Aricent.
