BSNL launches ‘live portal’ for mobile subscribers in South

BSNL launched 'Live Portal' for its mobile service customers in the South Zone.

The 'Live Portal' would enable customers to watch TV programmes, movies, download songs and mobile games while on the move.

“'It is a pleasure to start this service in southern zone. We started the 3G services last year and it is now present across 428 cities serving 12.5 lakh customers... We already have the 'video calling' and 'hello television' service but the convenience c omes with the use of Live Portal launched today,'' said , BSNL Chairman and Managing Director, Mr Kuldeep Goyal.

The company would also introduce mobile commerce, 'mobil episode' and other utilities (paying phone bills and other services) very soon, he said.

The service is already available in North Zone.
