CDMA Development Group (CDG) awarded Huawei Technologies with the 2010 3G CDMA Industry Achievement Award for Network Technology Innovation at the second annual CDMA World Forum held in Shanghai.
“The CDG congratulates Huawei on winning the 2010 3G CDMA Industry Achievement Award for Network Technology Innovation,” said Perry LaForge, executive director of the CDMA Development Group (CDG). “Huawei has demonstrated its commitment to CDMA2000® through impressive research and development over the years, and its most recent accomplishments with EV-DO Rev. B and LTE continue that tradition of excellence and innovation.”
Zhao Ming, President of Global Wireless Network Solution Sales Department, Huawei, received the award and later noted, “Continuous customer-centric innovation is one of Huawei’s core values. We are pleased to be recognized for our pioneering work in CDMA network innovation. Our support of CDMA has most recently been highlighted by Huawei’s launch of the world’s first commercially-ready CDMA2000 1xEV-DO Revision B, the world’s first CDMA LTE multi-mode trial for a US carrier, and by our leading-edge SingleRAN@Broad solution.” Mr. Zhao Ming pledged continued commitment to support of CDG and the CDMA eco-system.
Among other successful deployments to its credit, Huawei’s SingleRAN@Broad solution deployed for North America-based COX Communications to help the operator conduct trials of CDMA LTE multi-mode network is particularly noteworthy. |
