Leading telecom gear manufacturer, Ericsson showcased its complete end-to-end TD-LTE solution developed for China Mobile in Shanghai, China.
The solutions make use of ST-Ericsson chipsets and the demonstration showcased the mobile broadband applications handling capacity of the solution. The solution has earlier achieved a single user peak rate of 110Mbps in the downlink.
The latest demonstration was performed with a USB dongle with a TD-LTE chipset from ST-Ericsson.
Additionally Ericsson has also introduced a new base station as part of its TD-LTE offering named the RBS 6000.
