Taiwan-based, HTC Corp. and Reliance Mobile launched the ‘HTC Widlfire’ mobile handset for the latter’s GSM subscribers. The tie-up is exclusive meaning the handset is available only on the Reliance Mobile network.
The HTC Wildfire is 3G-ready and comes equipped with HTC Sense. It is developed on the Android platform and supports popular social networking sites.
As a bundled offer on purchase of the handset, Reliance Communications is offering up to 500 MB of free data transfer every month for a period of six months.

The model has a 3.2” touch screen, a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus LED flash, FM radio, a media player with a slot for expandable memory, the HTC Wildfire comes with special features including Proximity sensor, G-sensor, Digital compass, light sensor and an optical joystick, next generation caller ID, support for phone, email, text messaging, Wi-Fi, HTML web browser and more.
It is priced at Rs.16,590.
