Alcatel-Lucent claimed the leadership position in the new rankings published by market research firm, Dell’Oro as part of the latter’s Mobility Infrastructure report.

As per the report, Alcatel-Lucent was also able to sustain its leadership position when compared on a sequential period as well in terms of revenues.

“Alcatel-Lucent takes its leadership in CDMA very seriously. Building on it, we have started to partner with service providers around the world to implement our common view of the future: the evolution to a wireless all-IP network,” says Wim Sweldens, President of Alcatel-Lucent’s wireless activities.

“Our continuous innovations in the wireless space enable them to offer a whole new range of bandwidth-demanding mobile data and video applications – over their existing equipment, but at far greater speeds and less a cost,” he adds.
