Govt mulls banning Blackberry in India, says report

The Indian government is planning to ban Research in Motion’s (RIM) Blackberry services atleast temporarily till the Canadian firm does not addresses the concerns of security agencies, says a Times of India report.

The report adds that the government is set to call for a meet on Thursday including operators who offer BlackBerry services. The Home Ministry is likely to press for setting a deadline for RIM to comply with the security norms.
