HTC Corp. and Tata Teleservices’ GSM services brand, Tata DOCOMO jointly announced the launch of Android-based ‘HTC Desire’ in India. The handset is available for Rs. 28,900.
The new model has a 3.7 inch 480 x 800 WVGA display and makes use of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor as well as HTC’s Sense technology for touch screen features.

For Tata DOCOMO subscribers, HTC Desire comes bundled with free data download of 500 MB per month for 6 months.
