UK-based ip.access bags Bharti Airtel’s picocell contract

UK-based in-building wireless communication provider, ip.access announced that India’s leading operator Bharti Airtel has awarded a picocell contract to it.

As part of the deal, ip.access will provide its nanoGSM picocell solution. Bharti intends to use the solution for its enterprise segment customers.

“Our new agreement with Bharti Airtel is a massive achievement for ip.access, which puts us at the heart of one of the world’s fastest-growing and most dynamic cellular markets,” said ip.access CEO Stephen Mallinson. “This new deal underscores our global leadership in the market for in-building cell infrastructure, working with the world’s leading mobile operators to improve network performance and deliver high-quality services to subscribers.”
