TRAI to issue new regulations for telemarketing calls by month-end

Telecom Regulator, TRAI is planning to issue new regulations for unsolicited calls by the end of this month.

"We have held consultations and open house discussions (with various stakeholders). We are finalising regulations for unsolicited commercial communication. The final regulations will be issued during the course of the month," said TRAI Chairman J S Sarma.
