Airtel launches new ‘temple packs’

Bharti Airtel introduced  ‘temple packs’ allowing subscribers to receive information on their favourite temples every day through text messages. "They can get two updates for Re 1," the company said here in a press release.

To begin with, the cellular service provider would provide updates on nine popular temples in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The list included temples in Tirupati, Srisailam, Meenakshi, Rameshwaram, Sabarimala and Guruvayoor.
