Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has launched its new smartphone 'Vivo Y90' for Rs. 6,990 under its existing Y-series portfolio.
“The Y90 caters to the increasing expectations of our consumers who are on a constant look-out for a device with a bigger battery and bigger display at a highly affordable price point,” said Nipun Marya, Director Brand Strategy, Vivo India.
The Y90 is powered with a massive 4030mAh battery combined with Vivo’s exclusive smart power management system.
The device sports a 15.8cm (6.22) Halo FullView™ display with a screen-to-body ratio of 88.6% that provides consumers an enhanced viewing experience.
The Y90 also brings Vivo’s prevailing Face Access technology to unlock and access the smartphone.
Y90 has MT6761 Helio A22 quad-core processor with a 12nm design, achieving a clock speed of up to 2.0GHz that results in faster processing speed.
The device houses a 5-megapixel selfie-shooter at top of the display and has an 8-megapixel sensor at the back.
It also adopts AI photo algorithms for its cameras to automatically deliver facial enhancements that save the trouble of manually adjusting beautification details and deliver perfect shots every time.
Y90 comes equipped with 2 GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage expandable up to 256GB that gives consumers abundant freedom to store more photos and files without the need to frequently declutter.
Supporting the 'Make in India' initiative, the 'Y90' smartphone is being manufactured in India at Vivo's Greater Noida facility.
The device will be available in Black and Gold color variants across all offline partner stores and major e-commerce websites starting 27th July 2019. |
