Lenovo has quietly launched its A-series tablet, the A7-50 voice-calling tablet for Rs. 15,499. It is available on its Do Store, India site and will be delivered in 8-10 business days. Lenovo A7-50 tablet was launched globally in April, alongside the Lenovo A7-30, A8 and A10 tablets.
Lenovo A7-50 tablet comes with 7 inch (1280x800 pixels) IPS display. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. But Lenovo has assured Android KitKat update for the tablet in future. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek, MT8382 processor with 1GB RAM.
“The market is inundated with options, but the A-750 stands out as it is the first complete 7” tablet that offers double the power and performance, vis-à-vis other devices in the same price bracket. Multitask with this future-ready device that empowers the user to make the most of the tablet experience”, said Rohit Midha, Director, Tablet Business Unit, Lenovo India.
Lenovo A7-50 tablet also comes with 16GB inbuilt storage, which can be expandable up to 32GB through microSD card. It has 5-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front camera as well.
For connectivity, the Lenovo A7-50 includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, and Bluetooth with 3450mAh battery, which can be deliver up to 8 hours of usage time and up to 336 hours of standby time.
Lenovo had also announced a Wi-Fi variant of the A7-50, but at this time, there is no word on India availability or pricing of the same.
