RCom says TRAI recommendations progressive
TT Correspondent |  New Delhi |  12 May 2010

Reliance Communications (RCom) welcomed regulator TRAI’s recommendations terming them as ‘consumer-centric’.

"TRAI recommendations would lead to spectrum efficiency and rural penetration. Government would be able to release additional spectrum," said RCom, wireless business CEO, Syed Safawi.

RCom will have to pay about Rs.22 crore for excess spectrum held in Bihar.
