TT Correspondent |  |  24 Sep 2013

The Supreme Court, on Monday, asked Bharti Airtel to approach the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) on the matter related to the 3G intra-circle roaming agreements.

Asking Airtel to move the tribunal within two weeks, apex court directed the latter  to decide on the case by end of December.

The apex court made it clear its interim order restraining telecom major from adding new customers via 3G roaming pacts would continue till December-end.

DoT has asked Bharti Airtel,  Vodafone and Idea Cellular Ltd to stop providing intra-circle 3G roaming service outside licensed circles by entering into pacts with other service-providers.
