XOLO, on Friday announced the launch of its latest opus series smartphone, the OPUS 3, in the Indian market for Rs. 8,499. The device measures 143x71.3x8.8mm and is available at all authorized retail counters and modern trade outlets.
Opus 3 features a 5 HD IPS display and is capable of playing full HD video. The device is powered with a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM. It comes with an 8 megapixels rear camera with Sony Exmor R and dual flash for superior quality images, even at low-light condition. 5P Lens with f/2.0 aperture enables much sharper images and real life pictures. The device also offers a 5 megapixel front camera, with 88 degree wide-angle lens, flash and BSI Sensor.
Opus 3 Runs Android 4.4 KitKat OS and comes with 8GB internal memory which is expandable up to 32 GB using microSD card. For power back up it is powered with a 2500 mAh battery and it is rated to deliver up to 13 hours of talk time on 3G and up to 26 hours of talk time on 2G network. For connectivity it offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth 4.0 options.
The device comes with motion control technology which makes the use of accelerometer and proximity sensor to control Music player, FM radio, Gallery, Camera and even calls. OPUS 3 also allows access to multiple apps via Float Task on a dual window operation mode, enabling easy multitasking. While reading or watching a video, users can just pin their favorite app to the Float Task screen and it will follow, while they do other tasks.
