ZTE claims 35% growth in Q1 revenues

ZTE today claimed that it has recorded 35 percent growth in revenues for its range of products in the first quarter ended March 31, 2009.

 

As per the company, revenues reached RMB 11.67 billion while profits were at RMB 78.66 billion at 29.17 percent. EPS stood at RMB 0.06.

 

Product-wise, service devices witnessed 46.9 percent rise in sales and handset division sales rose by 22.2 percent. Telecom software system, services and other products registered 3.6 percent growth.

 

The company expects the 3G domain particularly in China, as well as focus on Europe, USA and merging markets to sustain its growth momentum.
