Idea Cellular said that is ongoing campaign enabling cricket enthusiasts to call popular cricketers including players such as Sachin Tendulkar, Zaheer Khan and Harbhajan Singh has registered over 2 million calls.

Sachin Tendulkar is leading the charts in terms of most calls received with over 50 % of calls made to his number while Harbhajan Singh and Zaheer Khan follow him.

Till April 30, Tendulkar had received 9.5 lakh calls as well as messages followed by Harbhajan Singh with 7.5 lakhs and Zaheer Khan with 1.3 lakh.

"We are really surprised by the unprecedented calls that had started coming in ever since we launched the campaign on April 30. We are indeed overwhelmed by the response the fans have shown and Idea Cellular will make the call and SMS details available to the players," Idea Cellular Chief Marketing Officer Pradeep Srivastava.
