DoT takes up BSNL & TCIL case to Disinvestment Ministry

The government is considering divesting some stake in PSUs BSNL and TCIL which fall under the DoT and the Finance Secretary, Ashok Chawla has started discussions if IPOs of the two firms with various ministries.

To begin with, listing of TCIL will be held and then the government would take up IPO of BSNL within this fiscal.
