Subhash Bana is Alcatel-Lucent’s new VP R&D for India

Alcatel-Lucent announced the appointment of Subhash Bana as the company’s new Vice President R &D for India.

 

Subhash will report to the company’s India MD, Vivek Mohan. His new responsibilities include driving excellence across the carrier and applications, software activities, best-in-class R&D service delivery, quality and innovation, execute products & solutions for emerging markets.

 

“I''m confident that under Subhash’s drive, R&D will play a key role in consolidating Alcatel-Lucent’s leadership position in India. His research experience and knowledge of the industry will be a significant asset to the company” said Vivek Mohan, managing director of Alcatel-Lucent India.

 

Subhash rejoins Alcatel-Lucent from Thomson where he was VP for India & Sri Lanka operations for two years. Prior to that he was associated with Alcatel-Lucent for 14 years with his last assignment for the company being as MD of Alcatel Development India. He is an alumni of National Institute of Technology, Warangal and Management Development Institute, Gurgaon.

Intertesting first Subhas gets kicked out on Vivek Mohan taking over and then being brought back. Seems packing the company's India arm with ex Lucent India personnel is not working.
