Vodafone Essar Q3 revenues up 14%, churn rate at 38%

Vodafone Essar managed a revenue growth of 14% at £767 million or Rs5,622.7 crore in Q3 2009 as compared to revenues of £ 674 million posted a year ago.

 

The company’s voice revenues saw an increase even in a per- second market environment with revenues rising from £ 588 million to £ 630 million in a year. Even on a sequential basis the revenues is on a positive growth trend.

 

 

Revenues from messaging and data were at £ 28 million and £ 42 million respectively.

 

The company’s voice usage reached 83,172 million minutes. ARPU continued to slide with figures dropping from Rs 297 to Rs 209 at a yearly drop of almost 30%.

 

Overall group revenues were at £ 11.55 billion from £ 10.47 billion last year during the corresponding quarter.
