Huawei set to unveil is new SingleRAN@Broad solution to tap mobile broadband market

Huawei Technologies is betting big on the mobile broadband market and keeping in lines with this focus the company will unveil a new mobile broadband solution named SingleRAN@Broad at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2010.

 

Huawei claims that the new solution is capable of handling huge mobile broadband traffic as well as reduce the per-bit cost by over 95%.

 

“Huawei’s mobile broadband solution addresses the challenges faced by operators, by simplifying the network structure and breaking down the barriers between different standards and technologies. SingleRAN@Broad enhances the end-user experience by accommodating the expansion of network capacity and radically reducing the cost per bit,” says Wan Biao, President of Wireless, Huawei.

 

The solution also helps to reduce the operation & maintenance (O&M) costs due to features such as multi-mode convergence, ultra coverage, fixed and mobile synergy and intelligent operation.  Furthermore the solution can be configured dynamically to enhance the quality of service as well as quality of experience levels, says Huawei.
