Bharti Airtel launched the first-of-its-kind ultra high speed broadband services offering sppeds as high as 50 Mbps. Initially the services will cover Delhi and Gurgaon to be followed by Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore.
Announcing the launch, K. Srinivas, Joint President-Telemedia Services, Bharti Airtel, said, “Airtel, with this step, brings in a world class experience for its broadband customers. We are delighted to introduce 50 Mbps speed - the fastest, wired broadband service on next generation VDSL2 technology. This ultra-fast broadband connection will allow customers, the convenience to download songs in seconds and full length feature films in less than three minutes.”
Bharti Airtel has priced the services at Rs 8,999 per month rental with 200 GB free data transfer. VAS such as Parallel Ringing, Website Builder (Basic), PC Secure (Anti-Virus software), Online Storage, Unlimited Gaming on Games on Demand will also be offered along with the service.
Another plan offers 30 mbps for Rs. 7,999 per month along with similar VAS as offered with the 50 Mbps plan. |
