Juniper Networks has come up with new solutions catering to Date Center requirements of enterprises. The company says that the new solutions not only reduce the cost & complexity of data centre networking, but also improve application and business performance.
The solutions incorporate advanced technologies related to automation, virtualization and fabric which promise to cut operational time by 50% and eliminate up to 35% of data center networking capital expenditures.
Juniper has also lined up new services and partnerships to push uptake of these new solutions. Additionally, new switches and routers have also been designed.
Juniper’s ‘new network’ provides a data center system which is cloud-ready and unlike old systems which were based on adding more boxes provides a scalable and better speed ecosystem.
The architecture is based on “3-2-1” with automation being provided in technical collaboration with VMware. The security aspect is taken care by partnership with IBM.
“It’s time for a fundamental change in the data center – one that opens up the network, makes it much easier to manage, and delivers the right experiences without sacrificing economics,” said Kevin Johnson, CEO of Juniper Networks. “The traditional approach of more boxes and more layers benefits legacy vendors, while burdening the customer with cost and complexity. Our approach is different, and it’s fueled by a combination of Juniper and partner innovation at the systems, software and services levels – all designed to help IT eliminate those layers of cost and complexity, while also enhancing application and business performance.” |
